Section 186 of said Chapter 94 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2014 edition, is hereby amended by adding the following:
Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, it shall be legal for licensed cosmetologists in the commonwealth to perform eyelash tinting procedures…
Is Eyebrow and Eyelash Tinting Safe?
Yes! Having your eyebrows and eyelashes tinted by a licensed professional at a reputable spa or salon is safe. At Andrea’s Skin Care we use plant-based eyelash and eyebrow dye that is safe for the eye area. We also spot check the formula on each new client to ensure that skin irritation will not occur.
Should I tint my eyelashes?
Again, we have to say ‘yes’! Tinting your eyelashes and eyebrows gives you a bold and beautiful look that lasts up to 2 months. You won’t need to go through the daily process of applying makeup to have defined eyes, and eyebrow tinting is a great way to hide any light, grey or white hairs.
